Merrywood Park is 20 minutes’ drive from Epsom
Probably the best known feature of Epsom is the racecourse, home of the exciting Epsom Derby, which takes place in early June and is one of the major fixtures on the horse racing calendar.
But Epsom racecourse isn’t just a racing facility. Regular events are held at Epsom Downs, such as Christmas functions, live music during the Summer months and various exhibitions.

Epsom also boasts an Odeon Cinema with Seniors discounts on selected screenings.
And of course, there is the Epsom Playhouse, with a broad programme including live music to suit all tastes and evenings with comedians and well-known personalities. The playhouse also hosts a number of must-see National tours.
