I went today, to take the photographs of our newly finished Park Home at Merrywood. It was really lovely to see the new variation on the kitchen cupboards fitted in this home. I’m so pleased with the fashionable greeny-grey that we’ve chosen for number 13. It looks very Farrow and Ball, if you know what I mean!
This model of Omar home has the best single-unit kitchen layout I’ve seen, incorporating a very generous space for a table and chairs in a large alcove – it’s a perfect place for a treat breakfast of bacon and eggs before taking on one of the National Trust walks over the North Downs. Merrywood has a great outdoor-pursuits location, with residents having their own private access onto the National Trust land at Box Hill.
And on that note, I was delighted to spot a pheasant having a little rest on the stable in the paddock that adjoins Merrywood Park and gives this line of homes their lovely private aspect from the master bedrooms. I’ve included two of the snaps I took of him – he was an obliging chap, repeatedly turning his head as I hung out of the window, alternately showing me each side of his vividly coloured chops!
To see more details of both of the homes that we currently have for sale on Merrywood Park (both of which have the aforementioned kitchen layout and peaceful views over the paddock from the master bedrooms), please go to our Homes for Sale area.
